Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Review and hands on

Samsung isn't prepared to show off the Galaxy S8 loved ones to the planet just yet, but that doesn't mean they came empty handed to MWC 2017. Samsung is rather focusing on their tablet attempts this time around. It's been rather a long time since the company really dove to the forefront of the pill market, discharging lower-end products like the Galaxy Tab A most recently, but we finally have a true successor to the Galaxy Tab S2 which premiered back in 2015. Since that time, we've seen Apple really attack the marketplace with its line of iPad Pro pills, also it as roughly time which Samsung jumped into the ring.

Equipped with an upgraded design, along with the S-Pen we have grown accustomed to seeing in much more "productivity" centric apparatus, Samsung plans to nullify an Android tablet market that's been dwindling in range. One of the first things you will notice when looking at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is that it requires following Sammy's premium layout language seen together with their flagship Android smartphones. You might easily say it is a Galaxy S7 in pill form, using it containing a structure that combines a glass back with an all-metal framework.

There is no denying the superior nature of the design, which helps if it boasts a skinny 6.0millimeter frame. For this reason, however, there's a bit of fragility at stake here -- so it's something we'd be wary about handling. Speaking of the glass construction, it surely seems light similarly to the Galaxy S7, but it's also just as much of a fingerprint magnet.

Other notable changes to the design than the Galaxy Tab S2 is the fact that it comprises the newer USB 3.1 (Type-C) connection, greater resolution 13-megapixel camera with flash, much bigger 6,000 mAh battery powered (with fast charging technology), and there is no more those 2 holes at the rear to attach a pay or keyboard. Rather, Samsung provides example covers and a backlit keyboard, that will attach via a magnetic link. The next thing to point out too is that there's just one model of this Galaxy Tab S3!

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is sporting a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 (QXGA) Super AMOLED display. Never the one to disappoint, it is detailed and offers all of the exceptional attributes of the tech -- like broad viewing angles, deep black color reproduction, and vivid colors. If it comes to viewing videos, Samsung presents a brand new HDR cinema-like style that adjusts the contrast and color saturation accordingly to deliver a larger color gamut.

Powered by a quad-core 2.15 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM, we underwent all the buttery responses with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Sammy's usual TouchWiz-esque interface. You would think they'd pack a brand new piece of silicone within this tabletcomputer, but the performance out of what we've checked out suffices. Having said that, who knows whether it is going to continue to be topnotch after several months of use.

Pricing will finally play a pivotal part in its achievement, as being above the 500 mark would indicate competing against these Windows 10 pill convertibles, which might offer more flexibility in the very long run with full Windows 10 software. Alternatively, it will also be moving toe-to-toe with some sub-$500 Chromebooks on the market, including Samsung's own ARM-based Chromebook.
